If you go to Kendwa during a full moon there will be a really good full moon party to which people from all over come. During the day it's a fairly easy walk down the beach as long as it's low tide I would not recommend going to stonetown for a night out, as it is quite far and the night life there is also hit and miss. The jellyfish were pretty bad so I wasn't tempted to swim, and the people who went snorkelling and scuba diving complained about the jellyfish as well. Myself and two friends are planning to head to this December - we've left it a bit late and are on a bit of a budget, but may have found reasonable accommodation at Kwenda Amaan Bungalows. I am just a bit concerned, with three single single mädels we may get bored and feel a bit isolated. Does anyone know how easy is it to move around to other venues with bars, and restaurants etc. I love and go there quite a lot, since I live in Dar. The entertainment there is variable. They're all just a short stroll down the beach from each other though. Was just in two weeks ago and I stayed at the Amaan Bungalows. Nice clean place and I had no problems at all. Only thing I didn't like is that the beach pretty much disappears at high tide. I was only there for a couple of days though, and I think I would have been pretty bored if I stayed there longer. I am not much of a one for just laying on the beach day in day out. I was with a small group of women and I felt pretty safe although as it was Ramadan, we were warned not to be out on the single mädels between 6:30 and 7:30 p.
